Romanian pop-tarts, the Cheeky Girls are set to invest their multi-million-pound fortune earned from their illustrious chart-topping career into a Budget Airline called Cheeky Cheeky Airways.
Inaugural flights will operate between a London airport (probably Luton) and a grass airstrip (currently being eaten into shape by a Cheeky Uncle’s pet goat named Istvan) close to the girl’s hometown in Transylvania using a refurbished Tuplolev 154 aircraft believed to be on loan from Malev Hungarian Airways.
Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik, who famously dumped TV weather girl Sian Llyod after she failed to have a poo on ITV reality television show I’m a celebrity get me out of here and is now dating one or more of the cheeky pop-twins, is said to be delighted by the move but despite owning a pilots licence it is not believed he will take to the skies as a Cheeky pilot. He is however believed to be helping high street fashion store Matalan design the flight crews and stewardesses uniforms.
It is not yet known if stewardesses will be required to wear the gold lame hot pants made famous by the Cheeky Girls in hits such as We Are The Cheeky Girls and Cheeky Holiday, whilst showing passengers emergency exits and serving complimentary hard liquor and meat based snacks.
When asked if passengers would be able to follow the Cheeky Girls advice and touch the cheeky stewardesses’ bums a close friend of Opik said, “Why not?”
Fellow east European budget carriers including Wizz Air and Sky Europe and airlines serving the region such as easyJet and Ryanair were unavailable for comment at time of going to press but are believed to be very concerned by the Cheeky upstart and are said to be seeking celebrity endorsement for their own product from local personalities. It is believed that Rula Lenska (born from Polish stock) is hoping to revive her celebrity career when the assembled budget airlines fight for her attention.
